Farnoush is an Iranian American journalist with The Associated Press with more than three years of experience reporting in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, San Francisco and now New York City, where she is currently based. Her reporting and research has appeared on NBC News, MSNBC, Centro de Periodismo Investigativo in Puerto Rico, The Hollywood Reporter and The Orange County Register. Farnoush has extensive experience working on breaking news and enterprise desks, covering everything from business and technology news, natural disasters to mass shootings to foreign policy. She recently graduated magna cum laude with a masters in investigative journalism from New York University's Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
